Curriculum Maps
It is our intention that all children within our school community learn within a nurturing and safe environment. We aim for children to develop knowledge and skills that they can apply across different aspects of their lives. We aim for a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes curiosity and reflects the context of our school; a curriculum that inspires children to continue learning into the future and that gives them opportunities beyond the National Curriculum. We aim for children to have a wide range of experiences that develop confidence, independence and aspirations, enabling them to feel well-prepared for the next stage of their education. We aim for children to develop an understanding of the world around them and particularly our local area and community. Our school curriculum is taught alongside our core values of the Funtington Footprints and together these will allow children to ‘Move Forward & Love Learning’.
